John J. Carr, Jr., on January 5, 2017, of Glendora. Age 62.
Beloved husband to Marianne (nee Del Viscio) for 33 years. Loving father to Patrick (Megan) and Sean (Ashley) and loving "Poppy" to Brinley Paige. Devoted son of Theresa Miller (nee Hudson) and the late John Carr, Sr. Dear brother of Jim (Nancy), Bill (Debbie), and Terry Risley (Tom). He will be missed by man's best friend, Dee Dee. Also survived by and loved by many family members and friends.
John was a volunteer for Glendora Little League and St. Agnes RC Church. For the past eight years he was a part of Big Brothers Big Sisters and will be sadly missed by his "Little", Tyler. John was an avid gardener who also enjoyed Phillies games, yoga, kayaking, and time at the beach.
John's positive outlook, selflessness, and genuine goodness touched all who had the privilege of knowing him.
There will be a visitation from 4:30pm to 7pm Tuesday evening at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes RC Church, Coles & Little Gloucester Rds., Blackwood, NJ.
Celebration of Life 7pm at the Church.
Interment private.
