In loving memory of

John Paul Arango, IV
May 25, 1922 - March 16, 2014

John Paul Arango, IV, on March 16, 2014, of Blackwood. Age 91. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Finegan) for 62 years. Devoted father of Cheryl Overbey (Scott). Loving son of the late John P. Arango, III and Lura Mae (nee Harrision). Dear cousin of Rodney Harrison. Also survived by brother-in-law Jack Colclough, sisters-in-law Ann Finegan and Mary Wittig and many nieces, nephews and second cousins.

John proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II, as a radio man in the Philippines and Japan. He worked for 42 years for the Reading Railroad as a payroll clerk and then Conrail before retiring in 1983.

John was a long time member and former Elder and deacon at Mt. Calvary Union Church in Runnemede. He was a member of the Old Guys Rule Club at Royal Fitness in Barrington, NJ.

John enjoyed animals, watching old TV westerns, working out at the gym and drinking his favorite drink, black coffee. John had many businesses throughout the years. He worked as a Good Humor Ice Cream salesman, had his own Mink Ranch in Clayton, NJ, and had his own janitorial business, where he worked nights and weekends while working days at the railroad. John was a former night watchman at Bancroft in Haddonfield.

The two things he disliked the most were sports and politics. John was known for his quick, dry wit.
