Samuel A. Marrone, on February 20, 2011, of Marlton, formerly of Somerdale, age 83.

Beloved husband of Mary I. (nee Minardi). Loving father of Louise M. Larson (Jeff) of National Park, NJ and Robert S. (Tricia) of Mt. Laurel, NJ. Loving Pop Pop of Robert Jr., Daniel, Christopher and Alexander. Dear brother of Dennis Marrone (Sandy). Loving cousin of Alfredo Rizzio. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins (The Cousins Club). He is the son of the late Samuel and Louise "Dolly" (nee Cicerone).

Sam was a graduate of Southern HS class of 1944. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. A former radio announcer (Disc-Jockey), Sam worked under the name of Bob Monroe for WCAM, Camden, WJJZ, Burlington, WAMS, Wilmington, DE and other stations along the East Coast. He retired from the State of NJ Division of Taxation as a Supervising Tax Investigator after many years of service. He was Past President of the Audubon Lions Club, President of J&R Young at Heart Club, a member of Sons of Italy Vita Nuova Lodge #2327 (formerly William Paca Lodge), former Lector & Eucharistic Minister for Our Lady of Grace RC Church, Somerdale, and a former Man of Malvern. Sam enjoyed the family dinners and holiday gatherings.

Relatives and friends are invited to the viewing Thursday evening from 7pm to 9pm and Friday morning from 8am to 9am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral Mass 10am Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, St. Luke's RC Church, Stratford.

Entombment New St. Mary's Mausoleum, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Samuel's memory to the Men of Malvern, PO Box 315, Malvern, PA 19355-0315.
