Dino V. Ripa
August 21, 1935 - January 8, 2013

Dino V. Ripa, on January 8, 2013, of Bellmawr. Age 77.


Beloved husband of the late Marie E. (nee Sabatino). Loving father of Mark D. DiPaolo, Dino A. Ripa and his wife Rowena and Michael A. Ripa. Devoted grandfather of Mia Bella Ripa. Dear brother of Nazzarreno Ripa, Joseph Ripa, Romolo Ripa, Beatrice Naurath, Virginia Boyer and the late Peter Ripa and Madeline Kinsey. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and godchildren.


Mr. Ripa was in the armed services and served as an Army Paratrooper during the Korean Conflict. While in the Army he also played AA baseball. He was a bricklayer and worked at RCA and Continental Can. Mr. Ripa was a former coach of the South Jersey Baseball League and Bellmawr Street Hockey. He loved going to the casinos, playing craps, going to the race track, "the 1-2-5 Tri-Box Can't Be Anything Else" and jazz music. He enjoyed his morning coffee with the "Over the Hill Gang". Mr. Ripa loved watching his granddaughter play soccer and attending her school plays. Dino had a special way about him, connecting with and leaving a memorable and lasting impression on everyone he met. Cheech was larger than life.


There will be a viewing from 7 to 9pm Friday eve and 8:15 to 9:15am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.


Funeral Mass 10am Saturday at St. Rita of Cascia Parish, Mary, Mother of the Church, Bellmawr.


Entombment Calvary Mausoleum, Cherry Hill.
