Ryan Blake Bakken, age 30 of Cedar, MN passed away on Monday March 9th, 2020. Ryan surrendered himself to the Lord because of circumstances we will never know or understand. Thanks be to our lord for the forgiveness of sin and the life everlasting.

He attended Saint Francis School and was a Boy Scout with brother Tyler, and Vickie was their Boy Scout leader. Ryan was a loving son, brother, cousin, nephew and loyal friend to everyone. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, deer hunting, watching deer and wild turkeys in their back yard, "wrenching" on his trucks, going dirt biking and 4-wheeling. Ryan will always be remembered by his soft, kind heart and bright smile. Ryan is now at peace with our giver and taker of life, Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior. Amen

"Ryan was my first nephew. I remember holding my sisters hand when she started labor with him at our family?s Christmas party. As a toddler he would always back up to your knees so you would pick him up and put him on your lap. Ryan was my ring bearer for my wedding. When I told Vickie the next day that I had lost one of a few keepsake silk roses at our wedding table, this five year old listened and found a replacement. He presented it to me with his big grin...?Here Aunty I hid this one in the men?s bathroom!? Why hide it I asked ?So it?s a surprise if they look.? Vickie and I laughed. I still have that silk rose. Ryan?s surprise. He always hugged me so tight. Not everyone in this world hugs like that. I hope Ryan backed up on Gods lap and gave him that hug. Oh Ryan, every-time I see a Rose I?ll think of you and my sister until we meet again. Love you! Aunty Marcy "
