Funeral Services for Mr. James Edward "Eddie" Sells age 55, of Gordonsville, Tennessee and formerly of Overton County will be conducted 3 p.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Alvin Copeland and Bro. Kevin Smith will officiate. The family will welcome friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., then on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home. Burial to follow in the Beaty Cemetery, with Military Honors provided at Graveside by the Tennessee Honor Guard, and the Overton County Veterans Honor Guard.
Mr. James Edward "Eddie" Sells passed from this life on Monday, March 16, 2020 in Gordonsville. He was born August 31, 1964 to Margie Beaty Sells and the late Kenneth Edward Sells. Eddie was a 1983 graduate of Livingston Academy, and active in the Army National Guard, and was a Paramedic in Nashville, TN. He enjoyed making wonderful works of art in wood burning and scrolls.
Eddie leaves behind his wife, Amanda Gregory Sells of Portland, TN; sons, Jeremy Lee Sells & wife Brandy of Monroe, TN, Jayton Alexander Russell of Portland, TN, and Kaleb Ashton Sells of Portland, TN; daughters, Sarah Sells of Crossville, TN, Morgan Alexis Sells of Portland, TN, and Cayslee Ann Sells of Portland, TN; grandchildren, Capp Sells, Carter Sells, Sutton Sells, and Liam Sells; mother, Margie Beaty Sells of Alpine, TN; brothers, Kenneth Mark Sells & wife Tammy of Monroe, TN, and Steve Edward Norris & wife Nichole, Cookeville, TN; beloved caregivers and Aunts, Barbara Davenport & husband James Murfreesboro, TN, and Sandy Tubb of Gordonsville, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his father, Eddie was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lerla Beaty King and Arter Beaty, and Vallie Sells, and May Sells.
Pallbearers to serve are Jackie Gross, Justin Bergdorff, Dustin Bergdorff, Jimmy Barnett, Malcom Perry, and Randy Carter.
