"One of my Dads oldest friends. They grew up together. As many of you know my Dad has a glass eye due to an accident when he was around 2 years old. Don was a protector of sorts for my Dad when they were growing up. I have heard Don preach many sermons when I was growing up. When my Dad was sick when I was young and couldn?t work, he would always show up with a trunk load of groceries and would be there. Don fell on troubled ways in his later years but I will always remember the heart of gold and the many times I?ve heard him praise the lord. I can pray he made things right with God before his final breath. He used to tell everyone that he was my godfather, I guess in many ways, he was. Rest In Peace Don.
