Nancy A Nelson Jensen
Born 5/17/60 in Winona, MN to parents Leslie H Nelson and Anah Goss Munson.
She was married and divorced.
Nancy was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.
Survived by children. Paul in Duluth, Ava in Madison, and Karalyn in Winona.
She is also survived by brother Lee Nelson, sister Lynn (Dale) Engrav, mother Anah (Howard) Munson.
She graduated from Winona Senior High School in 1978. She obtained a Bachelors in nutrition as well as a Masters in dietetics from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She was a member of the American Dietetic Association. She was also a member of the First Congregational Church. She would like to thank her wonderful neighbors and friends for their support. A Memorial Celebration of Life for Nancy will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, September 18 at the Hoff Celebration of Life Center in Goodview. There will be a visitation held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday before the service. Memorials to be sent to First Congregational Church of Winona. "Nancy, we knew each other from Orchestra in High School, you playing the biggest instrument possible, the Bass. I was a percussionist so we were in the back row together. We chit chatted often while they worked with that darn row of violas. We later reconnected when you were a Nutrition Instructor at SE Tech and WSU....we had some great conversations in the hallway between classes. Later you gave me your set of cross country skis because you were moving. I just took them out again this year and skid by our favorite place, Cedar Valley Lutheran Church. I will be sure to check in on your mother as we live just 2 miles away, You will be dearly missed.
