Marvin J. Dworschak
May 21, 1938 - March 20, 2020

Marvin Joseph Dworschak, 81, formerly of Fountain City died Friday, March 20, 2020 at Marinuka Manor in Galesville. Marvin was born May 21, 1938 in La Crosse to Arthur and Marion (Mitchell) Dworschak. He and Margaret Postl were married June 25, 1965 at St. Charles Parish in Chippewa Falls, WI. They farmed near Waumandee until 1987. After leaving the farm Marvin and Margaret moved to Fountain City where he enjoyed his hobby farm, gardening and taking pictures. Marvin delivered the Winona Post for many years. Margaret passed away in 2011. He was a member of The Cathedral of the Sacred Heart in Winona and had served in the Army National Guard. Marvin was also a volunteer fire fighter in Waumandee, and he also volunteered up at Elmer's Museum for several years.
Survivors include his four children, Mitch Dworschak of Fountain City, WI ; Matt (Teresa Water) Dworschak of Waumandee, WI; Marcia (Tom Tiede) Dworschak of Zumbro Falls Mn; Monica (Donnie) Ordway of Winona Mn, five grandchildren, Brittany, Xavier, Nicholas, Katrina and Keniesha, three great-grandchildren, Zeke, Luna and Keegan, with two more arriving soon. Marvin is further survived by nine siblings, Elaine (Cliff) Suchla; Karen Hansen; John Dworschak; Ardelle Tuxen; Pam (Marvin) Matthees; Bill (Sue) Dworschak; Larry (Donna) Dworschak; Debbie (Grant) Kutchara; Stephanie Dworschak. In addition to his wife Margaret, Marvin was preceded in death by a sister, Rita Ronnenberg.
With respect to the current COVID-19 restrictions, a private service for immediate family will be held this week with a public celebration of life at a later date. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Waumandee. Please share your memories of Marvin and your sympathies to his family at his on-line guestbook.
