Kelly Krug
February 10, 1959 - March 24, 2020

Kelly Ann Krug, 61, of Fort Dodge passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the Marian Home after a short battle with cancer.
A celebration of life will be Saturday October 17th at 10:30 AM in the Chapel of the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Friday at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Kelly is survived by her daughters Kimberly (Curtis) DoBraska of Ankeny, Jesse Krug of Fort Dodge, step-daughters Angie (Brian) O'Hair of Cedar Falls, Christina (Steve) Fisher of Humboldt, seven grandchildren, Haylen, Norah, Gaven, Quin, Sam, Luanna and Jackie, siblings Joyce (Darwin) Didio, Steve (Anita) Early, John (Beth) Lennon, Janet Lennon, Terry Lee, Christy Lennon and Tom (Igbal) Lennon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Monica (Fritz) Lennon; siblings, Jeanne Early; Laurie Lee; Jim and Bill Lennon.
Kelly Ann Lennon was born February 10, 1959 in Fort Dodge. She was raised and educated in Fort Dodge, graduating from Saint Edmond High School in 1977. On July 17, 1987 she married Randy Krug. The couple later divorced but remained close friends until his passing in 2019. Kelly worked as a type setter for the Messenger for several years. She worked for Iowa Health Systems for a period of time and then Life Works for 15 years. Kelly shared many laughs, enjoyed painting, caring for her dogs and especially loved the memories made with her grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude and thanks for the excellent care given to Kelly by the Marian Home staff.
Memorial may be left to the discretion of the family.

I listened to her through some difficult times and happy times. Not to mention the times spent hours a night playing word Chums. Thank you Krug for allowing me to know you.
