DUE TO CORONA VIRUS PANDEMIC; THE FAMILY MAY HAVE A MEMORIAL SERVICE AT A LATER DATE. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO LEAVE ONLINE CONDOLENCES AND REACH OUT BY PHONE TO SHOW YOUR LOVE AND SUPPORT DURING THIS TIME.

Allan Joe Walling joined our Lord and Savior Saturday, March 21, 2020 following a courageous 19 month battle with brain cancer.

Born December 31, 1950 in Weslaco, Texas, he was raised in Dallas, and a 1969 graduate of Kimball High School. Allan received his Masters of Science from TWU as a Nurse Practitioner. He was also a practicing Acupuncturist for 27 years. His vast knowledge and experience allowed him to provide the utmost of medical care for his patients. He was loved, admired, and respected by family, friends, patients, and fellow Medical Professionals. His retirement in early 2018 gave him time to explore hobby interests and have fun enjoying the outdoors.

Allan was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years, Ginger Hewett Walling. He is survived by parents Billy Joe and Frances Walling; devoted wife Diane Walling; brother Lyndsey (Marie) Walling; his children Shawn (Karlee) Walling, and Keisha York; grandchildren Peyton, Cade, and Carson York, Mason, Addison, and Owen Walling; niece Lauren Walling; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was so very proud of all his grandchildren.

Allan was a member of Cottonwood Creek Church, Allen, TX and leaves behind a multitude of loving family, friends, and neighbors. Our gratitude for the months of support and prayers provided during this most difficult struggle. Special thanks to the RN's Bill & Jason at VNA for their care.

A Memorial is planned and will be held at a later date.

Heaven has gained an extraordinary angel of a man but left an enormous void in our world! He was loved by all...

"A lifetime friend since High School, we shared many fun times, but as the city grew and we were at different sides of Dallas county, time got away from us - wish we had seen more of each other the past few years - Mark Dombrowsky."

"Allan Walling was my brother in law. I knew him for 38 years having married his brother Lyndsey. He was a wonderful person, loving family man, servant in the medical industry as well as a man of faith. He will be missed and always in our hearts. God bless him, his wife Diane and the rest of his family. Marie Walling"

"I took an immediate liking to Allan when we met in September 2018. He was the quintessential gentleman with a bright, contagious smile. Although I was the perpetually out-of-town brother-in-law, I enjoyed our visits, especially when he visited our home in Nevada. You left us far too soon, Allan, but you departed on God's terms and not ours. I will cherish the brief moments we got to visit and talk. Until we meet again, my Christian brother. "
