"We have been friends since we were teenagers. We lost touch for several years but reconnected about 25 years ago through genealogy. We have spent a lot of good times going to old cemeteries, working on genealogy either on the phone or in the library. We also were a part of a group who met each week in the Overton County Archives is to clean and file old court records. We had some hilarious times there each Monday night. We will certainly miss John! Sympathy to Irene and the rest of his family. "
"I will always have the memory of him greeting me at church with "Hello Cuz" Betty Turner"
