Paul Eldridge Varner age 84 of Knoxville, TN passed away on April 3, 2020. He was born in Knox County on November 4, 1935 to Charles Maynard and Laura Nelle Varner. After graduating from Halls High School he worked several years for Kresses Department Stores. Many transfers later he ended up in Rockford, Illinois where he got his Real Estate license. He had a successful career in Real Estate in both Rockford and Knoxville where he returned to live in 1980. Paul continued to work as a real estate appraiser while also combining two of his passions, photography and flying. He worked as an aerial photographer until he was 82. The past few years were difficult as he struggled with the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
He is survived by his son Chris Varner and daughter Cindy Varner, both of whom reside in Colorado.
