Thelma Toliver
April 24, 1942 - March 29, 2020

Thelma Toliver was born on April 24, 1942 in Indianapo-lis, Indiana to the late James McGimpsey and Odelia Williams. She attended public schools in Indianapolis and graduated from Cripus Attucks High School.
Thelma worked and retired from L.S. Ayres and also worked part-time at IPS. She was very active in her Neighborhood Association and Crime Watch. Thelma enjoyed bowling, traveling and taking cruises. She loved spending quality time with family.
Thelma is preceding in death by her parents, husband Minus Toliver. She leaves to cherish her memories forever daughter, Dedra Brooks, stepson Ivan Toliver and half-sister Phillis Owens, cousins; David Williams and Junie Williams, God-Daughters; Glenda Day Matheny, Tamika Brooks, God-son, Desmond Gray and an host of other relatives and friends.
Thelma only had one daughter and that was her number 1# priority, the love of her life.
Thelma was truly a guard an guardian Angel and a very quiet soul, full of wisdom and advice and was their when you needed her. She would simply get things done in the neighborhood especially "The Love".
