Brice Springer 04/10/2020
December 17, 1926 - April 10, 2020

Brice David Springer, 93, of Tucson, AZ, formerly of Marshalltown, IA, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020, at the Country Club of La Cholla assisted living center in Tucson. Memorial services will be 1:30 p.m., Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Anderson Funeral Homes in Marshalltown. Online condolences for the family at www.andersonfhs.com.

Born in Humeston, IA, in 1926, Brice went to school in Marshalltown and then went into the Army Air Corps in 1942. He then took a Creighton University class for drafting and then returned to Marshalltown where he was employed at Fisher Controls.

Brice was 93 years old and lived most of his life with wife Bernice and their children Daniel and Patrick in Marshalltown. In retirement, Brice and Bernice split their summers and winters between Marshalltown and Tucson. They finally moved permanently to Tucson where they lived out the rest of their lives.

"We are sorry to hear of Brice's passing. I had worked with him for many years at Fisher Controls. He was a good friend of mine. Our boys were in the school band together. We exchanged many camping stories over the years. I remember one time he and the family woke up to find they were surrounded by a herd of cows rubbing against the trailer. I will miss him. R.I.P.
