"Our hearts go out to Lewellyn and the family at this time. Jimmy will always be remembered as a fellow servant of Jehovah and very close friend. We had the privilege of getting to know him and Lewellyn while serving together in Zimbabwe Africa. He definitely made it easy to draw close to him. Even though they never had children of their own, you we?re always made to feel as if you belonged to them. His witty sense of humor, that ornery smile, will always put a huge smile on our face and give us a good belly laugh. Jimmy was never short on making you feel welcomed as part of his family no matter what part of the world you were from. When you were felling down and needed encouragement, Jimmy helped us to see the lighter side of things. And if loving direction was needed, in his special way he would give it, and in a dignified way. He was always hospitable, there to help you out if you needed it. You always had a place in their home and you knew it. We will always cherish our times together, not only overseas, but back in this country as well. If it was doing construction on the English Tudor in Johnson City Tennessee or just stopping by for a visit, we always had a good time! And you made sure of it!
