Rosemary Jeanne Young, age 75, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 10:00 p.m. in Good Samaritan Home.

Rosemary was born on May 28, 1944, in Amesbury, MA, a daughter of Alonzo G. and Roberta B. Farris St. Hilaire. On November 11, 1962 she married Richard George Young.

Rosemary's family would like to thank the staff at Good Samaritan Home and Blessing Hospice for all of the loving and compassionate care that they showed to her.

Survivors include: two children: Roberta (Jay) Hutson of Quincy; and Rick Young of Monterey, CA; three grandchildren: Adam Hutson of Davenport, IA; and Allison and David Hutson, both of Quincy; a sister, Annette Gosselin of Fremont, NH; a brother, Greg (Doris) St. Hilaire of Amesbury, MA; and many nieces and nephews.

"Dear Roberta and family: I am so sorry for your loss, and you?re in my prayers. My mother-in-law lived in the Foose Center for several weeks quite a while back. I would see Rosemary sitting alongside the other residents while I was there visiting Marjorie. Rosemary always wore a beautiful white or ivory cap. What a classy, lovely lady! Her beautiful spirit was so evident to all around her. Just like you, Roberta, her presence made the room a sweeter place for all who knew her. With love and prayers, Denise Hufendick"
