Elaine Allison Caldwell
August 16, 1948 - April 16, 2020

Elaine Allison Caldwell age 71 of Powell, TN passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family on April 16, 2020. She was born on August 16, 1948 in Mars Hill, North Carolina to Cornelius Alexander Allison and Mary Evelyn (Allison) McClesky. She had a number of siblings, Joyce Maxine Bell of North, South Carolina, Ronald Dean Allison, Sr. (deceased), Larry Kenneth Allison, Sr. (deceased), Lloyd Otis Allison (Karen) of Clinton, TN, Hugh Winfred Allison (Faye) of Knoxville, TN, Janice Annett Bell (Harold) of Neeses, South Carolina. She is survived by her husband, Christopher C. Caldwell; her only child, Stephanie Joyce Allison; step sons, Jason and Andy Caldwell; grandchildren, Mykaela James (Latasha), Carroll Carlton Thompson III, Maya Dorothea Thompson all of Oak Ridge, TN; great grandchildren, Dorien and Khalani James, Zadrian Kirk; special niece, Amy Carver (Tim) of Knoxville, TN; best friends, Pam Schaeffer, Robin Lockard, and Monica Rainwater; beloved pet Schnauzer, Smoke.
Elaine graduated from Fulton High School. She was a Missionary in New Mexico on Navajo Reservation. She attended Tennessee Tech College in 1970, was employed and retired from Case Power and Equipment. She loved to cook, travel, antiquing, being with her family, having weekends with her best friends, and adored all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a great sense of humor and was always the life of the party.
A Memorial and Reception will be held on August 15, 2020, location and time to be determined. Thank you to everyone for the love, prayers, and support during this hard time, our family truly appreciates all the love.

She was the sweetest person you would ever meet, lots of fun, always liked a good party and loved to play tricks on people with her Bubba teeth and was loved by everyone who knew her.
