Roy Richard Boseke
Canton - Roy Richard Boseke, 76 of Canton, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020, at the Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing home in Canton
He was born on May 25, 1943, in East St. Louis, Illinois, to Roy C. Boseke, and Doris M. (Pecher). His father Roy C. preceded him in death.
Roy married the love of his life Barbara (Diesher) on November 18, 1989. She preceded him in death on December 1, 2012.
He is survived by his mother, Doris, three children, Richard E. Boseke of Winter Haven Florida, Caroline Budeshaw of Winter Haven Florida, and Tama Jarvis of Tucson Arizona, three step children, Jeff, Terri and Jerri, one brother Joseph Boseke of Peoria, one sister Betty (David) Curry of Wyoming, Illinois, one step brother, Michael (Anna) Chandler of Silver Springs, Maryland, one step sister Joan (Joe) Parr of Peoria, one nephew Colt Wilcoxen of Galesburg, one niece Brandy Sartin of Knoxville, and several grandchildren.
Roy was in the United States Army Reserves, he first worked for Hoerr's Nursery then later for Caterpillar, then the City of Farmington for 10 years, and later retired from Hoerr's Nursery.
A private burial of his ashes with immediate family, will take place at Swan Lake Cemetery in Peoria.
Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory is entrusted with the arrangements.
