Wesley Scott Chatfield, age 62, of Quincy, died Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at 2:18 pm in Blessing Hospital.
Scott was born March 10, 1958 in Quincy, Illinois, a son of Elmer L. Jr. and Joanne Turner Chatfield.
Scott was a roofer by trade, but he had also worked a bar tender. In his free time, Scott loved hunting and fishing and generally being outdoors. He also enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars and knives and guns.
Scott's family would like to thank the staff at DaVita Dialysis, especially Sherry Oshner and Hannah Mixer, for their compassionate care.
Survivors include: his long time partner, Nora Bowen of Quincy, IL; his daughter, ToniSue Chatfield of Quincy; his dog, Puppy Girl Shiloh; his sister, Lori Chatfield of Quincy; his brother, Buddy Chatfield of Quincy; his special friends: Toni Dyer, Stacie Sparks, Floyd Smith, Mike Childress, Craig Schnelle, Tad Knowles, Jeff Lewis, Danny Bergstrom, Gary (Ginny) Genenbacher, Chad Burgtorf, Jimmy Sanders, Timmy Cannon, Duece Duesterhaus, Donnie Summers, and Les Irvine; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents; his paternal grandparents, Elmer and Eleanor Chatfield; his maternal grandparents, Henry and Pearl Turner; and a special cousin, Bobbi Jo Sparrow.
Services: a memorial service will be held at a later date
