In loving memory of

John H. Carey, Sr.
June 23, 1937 - April 11, 2020

John H. Carey, Sr., age 82 of Warminster PA, and formerly of Maple Glen, PA, died peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at Christ's Home Retirement Community in Warminster, PA.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of the late G. Howard and Agnes I.Carey (nee Anderson) and brother of the late George H. Carey, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 55 years, Elizabeth J. "Betty" Carey (nee Goshy) in 2012.

John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce and Engineering from Drexel University and was president and owner of the Boiler Erection and Repair Company, Inc. until his retirement in 2014.

John was a Mason and Shriner as well as a member of LuLu Country Club. He was an avid golfer and Eagle's fan. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his friend, Lucille Walker.

John is survived by his sister, Jeanne and her husband Robert Gough of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Betty Jean Carbone and her husband Albert of Warminster, PA; son, John H. Carey, Jr. and his wife R. Susan of Chester Springs, PA; son, Peter D. Carey, Sr. and his wife Beth of Norristown, PA. He was the loving grandfather of seven grandchildren; James and William Flanagan, Anthony Carbone, Lisa Stauffer (nee Carey) and John H. Carey, III, Peter D. Carey, Jr., and Alyssa Carey and five great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate John's life at a 12:00 PM Memorial Service on Friday, October 23, 2020, at LuLu Country Club 1600 Limekiln Pike, Glenside, PA 19038.
