LaShun Curtis Grafton Robertson age 29, of Los Angeles CA formerly of Ames died May 19, 2010 in California in a water accident. A memorial service will be at 2:00 PM Wed. May 26, at First United Methodist Church 6th and Kellogg in Ames.
LaShun was born in Mobile Alabama, he graduated from Carlisle High School he then attended Iowa State University in the athletic training most recently he was living in Los Angeles at Los Angeles Mission vocational and Bible courses working in their AV room and kitchen.
He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Harbour) Grafton Robertson of Ames, step son Matthew Harbour, and three step grandchildren Brittany, Matthew Jr. and Zeffrea, mother LaVerne Grafton, father Leon Grafton, brother Ivron Robertson, sisters Leslie Robertson and Monique Robertson and his grandparents Abigail and Raymond Robertson.
LaShun was a soldier in the Lord's army he is now with our Lord in heaven.
He will remain in our hearts forever.

"Psalm 116: 15 "Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His godly ones." I had the joy of coaching LaShun in the sport of wrestling at Carlisle High School. At that time, he told me of his desire to go into the field of athletic training. I will always remember him as a class young man, and I am so pleased to know that LaShun had a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
