Norma J. Harvey
August 13, 1933 - May 4, 2020

Norma J. Harvey, age 86, died Monday May 4, 2020 at St. Vincent Home.

She was born on August 13, 1933 in Quincy, the daughter of Adam and Lola Priepot. On April 25th, 1953 she married Richard H Harvey in Mt. Home, Arkansas.

Norma was a graduate of Quincy High School and worked at Illinois Bell was also was a nurse's aide at Blessing Hospital and worked several years at Quincy Junior High cafeteria. Norma was a long time member of Calvary Baptist Church, serving as a Sunday school superintendent, lead several years in AWANA Club and enjoyed singing in the choir.

She loved the Quincy Blue Devil's, St Louis Cardinals and especially the time spent with the grandchildren. During the summer, she enjoyed mowing their acreage on the lawn tractor and planting flowers.

Survivors include two sons, Richard K. (Louise) Harvey of Newark, Ohio, and Bruce (Mardy) Harvey of Quincy; six grandchildren, Justin Harvey of Zanesville, Ohio, Jessica Harvey of Dresden, Ohio, Ryan (Rebecca) Shinn and Rick (Lyndsay) Shinn and Katie (Kory) Hollensteiner all of Quincy and Karli (Nolan) Kurfman of Fishhook, Illinois two step grandchildren Natasha Wilkins and Nathanial (Mackenzie) Wilkins of Newark, Ohio, fourteen great grandchildren, Madison, Emma, Ethan, Andrew, Caleb, Olivia, Morgan, Dominic, Damien, Harvey, Neal, Hunter, Hyatt and Nora; her brother, Don Priepot, her sister, Cheryl (Paige) McGartland and sister in-law Janice Maple and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Harvey, daughter, Debbie Shinn, son in-law, Michael Shinn, brother, Junior Priepot and sister, Joyce Lundsford.

Family would like to thank the staff at St Vincent Home for all of the love and special care given to Norma.

Private services will be held with Pastor Kory Hollensteiner officiating, followed by burial at Quincy Memorial Park.
