Ellen was a member of the B'Nai Sholom Temple in Quincy.

Ellen was preceded in death by her parents.

"I had the pleasure of knowing Ellen when she lived in Florida and I was her travel agent for many years. I had as much of an adventure planning her travels as she had taking her cruises and trips. We moved to Vermont from Florida in 2006 and Ellen visited us a couple of times before going into the nursing home. You were always a PIP Ellen."
