In loving memory of

Rebecca Diane Smithson
July 20, 1973 - May 7, 2020

Rebecca Diane Smithson or "Beck", as some people may have known her, born July 20, 1973, went to be with the Lord May 7, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Jr. Barnwell; mother, Brenda Lucille Barnwell.
She is survived by her boyfriend of 14 years, Buford Green; daughter, Amber DeFoor and her husband Tyler DeFoor; brother, Earnest Paul Barnwell; sister Kimberly, Cousin Brenda Brannam, Heather Brannam, Tosha Tanner, Earnest Dodd, Steve Potter and several more, nieces; Emily Ann Barnwell, Lexi Walls, special friends, Leeila League, Cindi Stone, Jerry Lee, Mike Foster, Sue Smith, Nathan Parker, Dallas Stone, Debbie Hatfield, Jimbo, and many more; friends and family in Crossville, TN.
Becky was someone you would always want to be around, she was always smiling and happy to help anyone, she was always there to provide a place to stay or someone to talk to. If you knew Becky, you knew her love for George Strait and she loved the Bronco's Football. Becky loved to go camping and being around her family and friends. There was one thing Becky always loved and that was being a mother. She loved spending time with her daughter Amber. She was the happiest, strongest, sweetest, person you would ever meet, and I know she is looking down and watching over all her loved ones and friends.

Matthew 5:4 "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted."

Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Smithson family and invites you to view and sign the online registry.
