September 6, 1935 - July 3, 2010

Polly K. Ross age 74 of Ames Iowa died Saturday July 3, 2010 at Mary Greeley Medical Center. No services are being planned at this time.

Born September 6, 1935 in Rochester PA the daughter of Ross G. and Douthat Kistler, Polly graduated from University of Akron with a BS in Elementary Education. On November 21, 1956 she married Dale H. Ross in Akron, OH the couple moved to Ames in 1963.

Polly is survived by her husband, her devoted children - Bret Ross of Ames, David (Sandra) Ross of Cedar Rapids, and Wendy (Mark) Bergeson of Nevada -- and her beloved grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher and Brooke. Her brother Richard D. Kistler of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, also survives her. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Ross Kistler Jr.
