Kyleen Elizabethann Jones
February 7, 1996 - May 12, 2020

Kyleen Elizabethann Jones-Gordon, from Indianapolis, Indiana, died May 12, 2020, at age 24, in the home of her loving parents in West Des Moines Iowa, where she was fortunate to spend Mother's Day this year. Kylee always treasured such moments with her family. Memorial services are pending.


Kylee was born February 7, 1996 in Des Moines, and raised by her parents, James Burchard and Marla Gae Jones, along with her brother Riley Jones, all surviving.


Kylee actively enjoyed photography, music, art, web design, and her many friends. She was a kind and lovable friend to everyone. She graduated from Valley High School, in Des Moines, in 2014, where she was active in JROTC, and earned awards as Cadet Private First Class, for Honor Unit With Distinction and JROTC Athletics N-2-3. She had earlier participated in band where she played Saxophone. She also enjoyed cycling, and participated 2 years in RAGBRAI.


She dreamed of traveling, and family life, which she began with her husband Stephen Philip Gordon (also surviving), in Indianapolis, as they were married July 11, 2017.

Kylee had worked at various restaurants in the Des Moines area, and at Amazon in Whitestown, Indiana, along with her husband, Stephen.
