In loving memory of

Shiloh Kori Martin
December 9, 2017 - May 14, 2020

Shiloh Kori Martin, age 2, went home to be with Jesus on Thursday May 14 2020, at East Tennessee Children's Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Shiloh was born in Nashville, Tennessee on Saturday December 9,2017. She was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, and was later diagnosed with left pulmonary stenosis. Shiloh survived two open heart surgeries, a G-Tube placement surgery, several heart caths, weekly therapies, many tests, long and painful hospitalizations, chest tubes, central lines, extreme GI issues, and many countless other obstacles. Shiloh's diagnosis was something doctors all over the world had never heard of, and there was no cure for her. Shiloh fought and won all of her battles. Shiloh's testimony has reached globally and locally, and has impacted the lives of so many people. Shiloh was such an incredibly brave and strong warrior. Shiloh fought until her very last breath. Other than overcoming all of her obstacles, Shiloh's favorite things included going to the baby swing, exploring lakes and parks that Tennessee has to offer, singing to Baby Bum,saying her prayers & "AMEN!", eating shredded cheese, watching Trolls, her green sippy cup full of fresh water, puppies (arff, arff), listening to Birds of Chicago to calm her down, and NOT stopping at red lights ("Let's Go!"). Shiloh loved going to church every weekend at Faith Promise Church and praising the Lord during worship..."AMEN!". Shiloh had such a beautiful and bold personality, and was loved by everyone who knew her, even those who did not know her personally. Shiloh was a ray of sunshine and always happy, even during the very difficult and painful times. Shiloh had the breath of God in her, and is leaving such a powerful legacy, even at only two years old.

Shiloh is survived by her mother, Madison Cate Martin of Knoxville, Tennessee, her grandmother, "JJ" Jan Martin, her Uncle & Aunt, Cody & Moriah Martin, her great grandparents, "Bebe" Barbara & "Pop" William Patterson, her great aunts, Marcia Tasma and Kelly Lantefield, her great uncles, her great cousins, and all of the Shiloh Strong prayer warriors.

Shiloh's Celebration of Life service will be held at Faith Promise Church, of Knoxville, Tennessee at a date soon to be announced. Shiloh's Service will also be live streamed on Facebook at facebook.com/ShilohStrongForever

"Oh sweetheart! You and your mom have constantly been in my thoughts and prayers! My prayer for you is that you can feel your precious ray of sunshine?s presence and you can see the signs she leaves for you to let you know she will always be near. Love never dies. Shiloh?s love for you lives on in your heart. None of us know the day or time God will call us home. God found favor in you and blessed you with one of his smallest but wisest teachers with all of her internal imperfections. Once her purpose was fulfilled, Shiloh?s soul was just too beautiful to remain here on earth, so God called her home. Thank you for sharing your precious Shiloh and her journey with everyone! The lessons of love you, your mom, and Shiloh taught me will forever be in my heart...??"

"I have seen so many signs of God through Shiloh. I have been blessed to be able to see her life through pictures and videos and have enjoyed every one. I will miss her so much! But I know where she is and I know who is taking care of her. Shiloh and I shared our love of cheese!!! I don?t know anyone who loves it like I do but I think Shiloh did!! Thank you Madison and JJ for sharing Shiloh with us. She is so precious. Both of you will be in my prayers. When you lay your head down to sleep at night, know that you were the best mother and grandmother that she could have ever had. All 3 of you are my heroes. "
