Brian Cave
February 25, 1981 - May 14, 2020

KEOTA-Brian Patrick Cave, age 39, of Keota, died Thursday, May 14, 2020, near Libertyville, Iowa.
Brian was born February 25, 1981, in Iowa City to Kevin and Luann (Sheets) Cave and graduated from Keota High School in 1999. A lifelong resident of the Keota community, Brian worked for Vision Ag, Leo Sieren, the West Chester Elevator and Hammes Masonry. He married Brandi Bishop in 2006 and they were later divorced. On June 30, 2018, he married Jovany Reyes in Washington. Brian was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and enjoyed football, baseball, hunting, fishing and dirt bike racing.
Survivors include his wife: Jovany; children: Remington Patrick, Carmelita Lynn and Quinten Alan Jr., step son: Noah Gabriel Miller; parents: Kevin and Luann Cave and sister: Jessica (Sam) Jeffries and their children Tate, Kenley, Brynn and Ainsley.

Memorial visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, 2020, at Powell Funeral Home in Keota. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, social distancing will be enforced, mask use will be strongly encouraged and a limit of 10 people will be in the building at one time.

A memorial fund has been established for his children. Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Keota is caring for Brian and his family. Tributes may be made at www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
