Marian E. Batt, age 88, of Rochester, Minnesota died Friday, May 15, 2020 at Madonna Towers in Rochester, Minnesota.
Marian Ethel Schopfer was born on September 12, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri the daughter of Rose (Haynes) and Harry Schopfer. She married Donald Batt in St. Louis, Missouri in 1954. They moved to LeRoy Township, Minnesota where they farmed for many years. They later divorced and she moved to Rochester, Minnesota.
Marian is survived by her daughter, Susan Batt; three sons, Paul, Rodney (Jean), Tracy Batt; grandchildren; great grandchildren; brother, Ken Schopfer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Dale, sister, Elinor, and daughter-in-law, Connie Batt.
Private family graveside services will be held Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Chester Hill Cemetery, Chester, Iowa. In memory of Marian the family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity.
