"I have a picture in my mind of two pretty little girls, you, Linda, and my sister Patsy, dressed up in your can can dresses - how beautiful the two of you are. Less than two weeks ago, because of the current crisis, I thought to call you - but as always - I did not follow up - I put it off! Now HE says - Mundo you had 67 years to share with my child - now she is with me for eternity "

"Ms. Rodriguez, Thank you for all that you have done; not only for me but for so many people around you. You always made me feel welcomed, accepted and good enough. Thank you for teaching me the importance of caring for yourself, your things and for others. Thank you for listening to me when I talked your head off and for answering me each time I asked you a thousand and one questions about your life. Thank you for every gift given, every kind word spoken, every warm hug and for each time you would smile and tell me not to be a stranger. Most of all thank you for raising such a strong, beautiful, kind and brilliant daughter that I have had the honor of being friends and family with for almost 30 years. I am honored to have known you and although this is harder for me than I ever thought it would be, I am at peace knowing you are at peace. You will always remain in my some of my best memories and in my heart and I as long as I am able to do so you know that you can rely on me to be there for your family. I miss you and I love you. Rhomidee"
