Stacy Lynn Thatcher

Stacy Lynn Thatcher, 49, of Rochester passed away at her home on Sunday, May 17, 2020.
Stacy was born July 6, 1970 in Rochester, MN to Craig and Anita (Hart) Thatcher. Stacy was a strong willed, compassionate person, and a hardworking single mother. Stacy loved the Minnesota Vikings, had a soft spot for animals, enjoyed country music, especially Shania Twain. In her earlier years, she loved to go camping. Over the years, Stacy began to battle addiction which left her with many health issues, but throughout all those trying times, she never lost her fighting spirit.
Stacy is survived by her children, DJ (Tiffany Vonahsen) Wood of Rochester, Blake (Shaylee Olds) Thatcher of Minneapolis, Brooke (Tyler Queensland) Thatcher of Rochester; grandchildren, Carter, Lily and Max; mother, Anita Thatcher and sister, Kelly Johnson. Stacy is also survived by her nephew, Cole; niece, Sophia; maternal grandfather, Delman (Laura) Hart; aunts; uncles; cousins and a host of other family and friends. Stacy was preceded in death by her father, Craig Thatcher and by her maternal grandmother, Beverly Hart.
A time to celebrate Stacy's life will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester, MN.
