In loving memory of

Susan Elizabeth Greffin
August 1, 1949 - April 29, 2020

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Elizabeth Greffin, our loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all whose lives she touched, on April 29, 2020.

She left us suddenly due to a severe brain hemorrhage, she was 70 years old.

Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 1st, 1949, to Kenneth Meschke and Lois Adele Meschke.

Survived by her husband, Douglas Greffin, her children, Bryan Greffin and Melissa Niebuhr, her granddaughter Caylin Niebuhr and her brothers Rick Meschke and Steve Meschke.

She loved spending time with her family, baking goodies and sneaking the dogs treats, hosting holiday family get togethers, camping and boating. Susan has always been artistic and creative, drawing, painting, sewing, if you needed help with a creative project she was always the person you could go to for inspiration. She was always there to listen and offer advice, and somehow she always had the right answer or knew exactly how to make you feel better.

Susan has left us with a lifetime of love and a kindness that we will never forget and will forever share with the world in her memory.

We love you to the moon and back...and back again. And will hold you in our hearts until we meet again.

"The passing of Sue was a great loss to all of us who knew and loved her. We worked together at the Beatty Water and Sanitation District where she was the office manager. She was very efficient and kind and everyone loved her. She was also a good friend and we enjoyed many a 4x4 trip dissecting Death Valley and the surrounding area with her husband Doug on the GPS and Sue providing translation and humor to the rest of us. I loved those trips and the fun we had. Good times with a great girl! She will be missed. Jim Weeks "
