In loving memory of

Lincoln Eugene Engle
October 25, 2019 - May 21, 2020

Lincoln Eugene Engle, also known as Link, Tinest of Peanuts, Peanut, Little Britches, Baby Brother, was born October 25,2019 at 5:50am to Sara and Ben Engle and big sister Dani. He was the blessing we had been praying for. From day one he was the happiest baby. He loved to smile, giggle, kick his feet and chew on his fingers. Link loved his big sister Dani, his mama and his daddy. Not to mention his countless family members. Link was our rainbow baby, after waiting through storms of infertility God surprised us with our sweet boy. Despite his heart condition and genetic disorder he never allowed those to slow him down, he was on par with his milestones and loved to talk nonstop. Link was a true joy to whoever he encountered, with his smiles, squeals of joy and kicky feet.

Link leaves behind so so many broken hearts including those of his grandparents Paul and Kathy (maternal), Pam and Ed (paternal), his uncles and aunts Rob and Nathan Broom,Josh and Becca Reaves and Rachel Engle. His cousins Abby and Adam Reaves. And his extended family, by blood and by choice, who are too many to name but know they are loved and who are grieving along side us.

He is proceeded by his two siblings, Great Aunt Phyllis, Great Uncle Stanley, Mamaw Grace and Papaw Forrest Higgins, and countless other loved family members. We know our sweet boy was greeted at the gates of Heaven by a family reunion that we can't even imagine.

He passed from his loving daddy's arms to the arms of Jesus May 21st,2020 at 5:57am.

"And to think the first thing he saw when he open his eyes was the face of Jesus." We love and miss you oh so much Link.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to RMC Nashville or East Tennessee Children's PICU.

Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel is honored to serve the Engle family and invites you to view and sign the online registry.
