"I remember many great times with John, but one of the funniest was when we were camping at Ike Kinswa. John and I were pulling Tim on the tube, when we hit a partially submerged tree stump that launched us in the air, and sent John and I to the floor of the boat. After we determined we were all alive, we had a good laugh over that for many years to come. He was most proud of his two boys, and will be missed. Rest in peace John"
