Frank A. Mercantini, Jr., on May 25, 2020, of Blackwood, formerly of Camden. Age 71.

Beloved husband of Mary (nee Darpino). Devoted father of Frank J. Mercantini. Dear brother of Marie Mercantini-Morais and partner Vio. Uncle of Darlene Bruno, Joseph and Celi Morais, Amanda, Samantha and Daniel Darpino. Great uncle of Nick Bruno. Brother-in-law of Dan and Liz Darpino. Also survived by close friends Vince, Lydia, Gina, Jamie and Giovanna Melfi, David and Kathy Malinowski, Butch and Kathy Vallenti, Joe Burgo, and Gwen. Mr. Mercantini was a member of American Legion Post #17, Lewes, DE.

He loved sports, his dogs and going down the shore.

Due to the restrictions set forth by the State of New Jersey, a private funeral service will be held at a later date.

Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Mr. Mercantini's memory to St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, 160 E. Erie Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19134 or to Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center, 125 County House Rd., Blackwood, NJ 08012.

"Sad to hear of Frank?s passing. Was a friend of my husband John Delengowski who passed 2004. Was in our wedding in 1982.Frank and John spent time at the casinos in AC, David James Bar and many nights of cards. My deepest sympathy to the family and close friends. ?"
