Richard Davis, Jr., 20, of Fort Dodge passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2020 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 to 8:00 PM Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.
He is survived by his father, Richard Davis Sr. of Fort Dodge; mother, Quantina Washington of MN; siblings, Niya Davis, Cameron Davis, and Kyanna Davis; grandparents, Richard Davis of Las Vegas, NV, Denise Miller of Hammonds, IN; aunts, Jontelle Davis of Chicago; cousins, Allen Johnson, Levon Johnson, Kimora Williams; aunt, Janae "Jada" Dabney of TX; uncle, Lance ( Jessica) Washington of GA; as well as a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Richard is joining friends Draylyn Johnson and Matayah McLoughlin in heaven; and great grandparents, McClendon and Laverne Miller.
Richard Percy Davis, Jr. was born February 14, 2000 in Chicago, IL. He attended Fort Dodge Senior High School where he excelled in sports and gained a love for basketball, playing point guard. He also enjoyed working with his hands. He loved rapping and hanging out with his friends. Richard's presence lit up the room when he entered it. He will be truly missed by all that knew him.
Memorials may be left to family discretion.

"We met Richard and the two others killed in the crash at Boondocks Friday night. Richard played bags and cards with some of our guests. He made our visit to boondocks very memorable and we looked forward to returning and seeing this young man again. Our hearts go out to the friends and family of these young souls. ?"
