Susan Gebelein

Suwanee, Georgia - Monday, June 1, 2020, Susan Gebelein (Paterson), beloved wife of the late Walter, a long-time resident of Blackwood, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home in Suwanee, GA.

Susan was born in Glen Head, New York. She traveled with her family until they settled in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, where she attended and graduated from Kennett High School. She went on to attend Pennsylvania State University, where she graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Journalism.

Susan started her career as an advertising executive. Following her marriage to Walter (Jr.), she became a homemaker and mother to Walter (III). She was a prominent member of the West Jersey Rose Society.

Later, Susan would rejoin the workforce as a member of the Heinz Senate campaign, then as a stock broker and financial planner, and eventually owning and operating Runnemede Liquor for 20 years with her husband.

Susan is survived by her siblings Alison and David, son Walter, daughter-in-law Liza, and grandchildren Bennet and Will.
