Mr. Gerrit Robert Herline, age 90, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020. He was born in Muskegon, MI on August 16, 1929 to Lambert & Ida (Vanderwall) Herline and served his country in the United States Marines. He married the former Shirley Pitts on August 1, 1953. Mr. Herline worked as an operator at Consumers Power for over 30 years until retiring. Gerrit was a lifetime member of the VFW Don Rea, enjoyed hunting, fishing & bowling.
SURVIVORS
Sons, Mark (Karla) Herline, Matthew Herline, Mitch (Nan) Herline; daughters, September (Jeff) Evert, Shelly Herline, Kelly Mathews; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Shirley on January 5, 2018.
