" I feel very fortunate for the opportunity in my life to know such a wonderful person as Joseph. Growing up, Joe would take Joseph, myself, and my sister skiing at night up to Pine Knob. Joe and Joseph would come over to our house for tea and cookies with my Mum. Joseph had a very happy wonderful disposition which I will always cherish. Talking to Joseph always put happiness in my day. On Memorial Day I knew when I called Joseph he would be very happy sitting out by his pool at his Condo in CO. Joseph was always so thoughtful and kind. At time's he would call and tell me he is drawing a picture for me and will mail it to me. I will deeply miss talking to Joseph, and his thoughtful drawings he would send me."

"Joe was truly the sweetest man. I?ve known him my entire life. He was my father Marty?s best friend! Joe attended every Shefferly event, holiday party, birthday party, camping trips and kings island trips! (He went in the little beast roller coaster over and over with me) Honestly, i don?t remember much of my life without joe being present until he had to move to Colorado. I have very fond memories that i will hold dear to my heart. One being, the water balloon fight in dugans campground. He got very mad at us kids but it was all in fun and games. We would laugh about now over the phone, every week we talked! Joe i will miss you so so much! Rest easy bud! Love you, Jessica Shefferly "
