Mr Bernard Aaron Harrell, age 86, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020. He was born in Muskegon, MI on May 14, 1934 to Aaron & Marian (Nevins) Harrell and served his country in the US Army. He married the former Carol Hoover on April 12, 1958 and she preceded him in death in 2012. Mr. Harrell worked as a machine operator at Muskegon Piston Ring for over 33 years until retiring. He was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Muskegon Eagles. Bernard enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting, gardening and making wine. He will be missed by all who knew him.
SURVIVORS
Son, David Harrell; 2 sisters, S. Patricia Reno, Janet (Carlton) Gustin; 4 sister-in-laws, Donna Dagen, Lorraine VanDyke, Doris St. Roup, Marilyn Bradfield; brother-in-law, Wayne (Susan) Hoover; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Carol.
SERVICE
Wednesday, June 24, 2020, at 10:00AM Outdoors at First Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. William Uetricht officiating. Limited seating will be available, you are encouraged to bring lawn chairs if available. Internment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
