Josiah Neal Mast

KALONA - Josiah Neal Mast, the son of Mahlon Lee and Carol (Borntrager) Mast was born December 19, 2009. His short life here on earth ended suddenly on Friday, June, 19, 2020 at the age of 10 years and 6 months.
Those left to mourn his passing are his parents, Mahlon and Carol, 2 brothers and 3 sisters: LaWayne (8), Wanda (6), Lynette (5), Wendall (2) and Lorena (1). His grandparents: Neal and Anna Marie Borntrager, Fred and Mary Pearl Mast, great grandfather: Eddie Jay Miller, great aunts: Susie and Katie Miller, special aunts and uncle: Ezra, Miriam and Alma Borntrager, and Erma Mast. Also numerous other unlces, aunts, cousins, school mates and friends.
Preceding Josiah in death are his great grandparents: Dorothy Miller, Alton and Katie Borntrager, Henry B and Edna Miller, Sam B and Katie Mast; and a cousin Gabriel Kauffman.

Funeral Services will be held at 9:30 AM Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Mahlon Mast residence at 1051 Kiwi Ave in rural Kalona. Burial will be in the Brenneman Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM on Wednesday and will continue all day on Thursday at the Mahlon Mast residence.
