"I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Roberta. She and Donald were my parents' (Olga and Vincent Mazzei) dear friends and I had Roberta for a teacher at New Hartford High School. She was an incredible teacher and instilled a love of reading and writing in me that has carried throughout my life. She was a stickler when it came to grammar and I think of her often with gratitude because I have a made a career out of writing and she definitely laid the foundation for my path. Roberta had an incredibly funny and warm personality and I enjoyed the time I spent with her as a child and teenager both at my parents' home and in the classroom. May she rest in peace."

"Howard and Spector family. Shalom! We truly have appreciated your friendship and the opportunity to spend time your parents. Your father was a great mensch and your mother absolutely the same. I enjoyed their shared stories, insights and advice. See your mom as a fixture at baseball games supporting Finley and the team in her chair brought a true family spirit to all of the games. Watching how they interacted and respected each other and the pride they have for you and the family was wonderful. The memories that she and your dad created for us will never be forgotten. "
