Marlyn C. Ewalt
Canton - Marlyn C. Ewalt, 94, of Canton, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2020, at Red Oak Estates in Canton.
She was born on September 24, 1925, to O.L. "Roy" and Mabel E. (Moul) Nelson. They both preceded her in death.
She married Karl Ewalt on July 4, 1942 in Farmington. He preceded her in death in 2015.
Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Dale Nelson and Burl Nelson.
Surviving are four children, Lana L. (Larry) Henderson of Lees Summit, MO, Karla K. (Danny) Polhemus of Germantown Hills, IL, Victor E. (Chris) Ewalt of Hanna City, IL. and Denise J. Meyers, of Canton, IL, eleven grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.
Marlyn graduated from Farmington Highschool in 1949, she enjoyed fishing, gardening, flowers and spending time with her family.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A burial of her and her ashes will be held at a later date in Trivoli Cemetery in Trivoli.
Memorials may be made to Copperas Creek Fire Department.
