September 27, 1946 - June 25, 2020

Nancy Rose, 73, of rural Malvern, IA, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Glenwood Ward. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Nancy and her family.

Nancy Joanne McClure (73) of Malvern, Iowa was one of three children of Willis Earl and Lois Loretta Duval McClure. Nancy was born on September 27, 1946 in Bellevue, OH, and passed away peacefully at her home on June 25, 2020. She received her education from Dundee Community High School in Carpentersville, Illinois graduating in 1964. She spent her younger years flying single engine airplanes and had a love for auto racing at Meadowdale International Raceway in Carpentersville, Illinois. Nancy re married in 1984 and moved to Malvern, Iowa in 1988. She graduated from Iowa Western Community College with dual degree one Associate in Science and one Associate in Arts in May of 1993


Nancy always enjoyed reading a good book, putting together puzzles, spending time with her animals and her grandchildren, and loved to cheer on the Chicago Cubs.

Nancy was a member of The Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints - Glenwood Ward.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and first husband Daniel Joseph Christ (d. 2005)

Nancy is survived by her husband, Jack of Malvern; sons, Brian Christ and his wife Michele of Elgin, IL, Kevin Christ and his wife Sherry Smith of Alvin, TX, Jeremy Rose and Jake Rose both of Council Bluffs, IA; grandchildren, Katelyn Salek and her husband Rob, Daniel Christ, Nicholas Vega, Erika Vega and Gabby Rose; brother, Mark McClure and his wife Karen of Greenfield, CA, Aunt and Uncle Connie and Jay Morrison of Carpentersville IL; other relatives and a host of many special friends.
