"My Aunt Orley, also my godmother. As far back as I can remember which for me is about 2 and half years old she always had a heart to be the hostess and caretaker for anyone in her presence. A sweet good hearted woman that always put family first, there are really no words to describe this wonderful woman. I love you Aunt Charlene, I will always miss you greatly... Elgin. "
"My Auntie Charlene...She was a second mom to me and like a sister to my mom and it makes me happy that they're together now. She would share funny stories and happy memories about my mom with me after my mom passed. I'm going to miss you Auntie Charlene and I love you. P.S... say hi to mom and dad for me ?"

"I'll never forget the first time I met Charlene, 63 years ago. Dick brought her to Burbank to meet my mom and dad shortly after they were married. I was in high school and looked up to see a beautiful lady that quickly became my confidant and an inspiration to many. She became my "Charlie Brown." She was Miss Hospitality trying to teach me how to make cinnamon rolls and countless other baked goods. As I read 2Timothy 4:7 I think of her.. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.""
"Aunt Charlene I remember when me and Charlene came to visit her in AZ she got me to eat cantaloupe with ice cream i thought that was the weirdest, but the only way i can eat it now. You will be missed Freda, dad,R.B and Tunney will being giving her the biggest welcome hug "
"My memorys of Charlene when I was a boy was she was always in the kitchen fixing something for someone, always taking care if everyone. She was always so kind. She was my mom's best friend. Maybe you can get together again and have a cup of coffee on heavens patio. "
"I will always remember Nana's banana pudding and her delicious rolls, all of the family gatherings, birthdays, and holidays spent together, hunting for the wooden Easter egg, and her SMILE that would light up any room! She was so funny and had the best sense of humor and she always made me feel loved. I am so grateful that GOD gave me and my children the opportunity to have this amazing woman in our lives for fourteen short years. She was one of the toughest women I've ever met, and her friends and family loved her so much. We are blessed with all of the memories we have of her and will carry them in our hearts forever. Love you so much, Nans. Fly with the angels."
"We will miss you, your kind ways, laughter and smile. Rest In Peace Charlene and prayers to Dick, Ricky Rhonda and family."
