Philomena "Phil" Malagrino
August 27, 1929 - June 29, 2020

Philomena "Phil" Malagrino, age 90, passed away peacefully at Benedict House in Rochester, MN surrounded by her family on June 29, 2020.
Philomena met her husband Gerald, they fell in love, and were truly partners for the rest of their lives. They married in NY, and moved to Rochester for Gerald's employment with IBM.
Besides being a loving wife and mother, she worked as a volunteer secretary in the office of St. Francis School, worked with children who resided at the Rochester State Hospital, and was active in St. Francis's Rosary Society and Bible Study. She loved sports like tennis and bowling, and always enjoyed lunches with her dear friends she met over the years at the Northgate Health Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Al) Meredith; son, Gerald (Ann) Malagrino Jr; three granddaughters, Christina (Josh) Chapman, Elizabeth (Andy) Gappa and Danielle Malagrino; five great-grandchildren, Andrew, Daniel, Griffin, Logan and Aubrey; sister, Yvonne; sister-in-law, Gudrun; brothers, Angelo and Nick; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald; brother, Andrew and sister, Sandra.
A while on earth, forever in heaven, and always with God.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
