"I worked with and for Karyn at GWB for only a few years. But she was quite the character. It seems she always had a ?story? to tell. You know she loved her children and grandchildren because she talked so much about them, and she never bored you with her stories. She is already missed and will be missed for a very long time. "

"Karen boarded Classic at the same barn I boarded my horse at. I only had the pleasure of knowing her for 3 years, but we used to ride around together and she always had a great story about her children or grandchildren. What an awesome lady, so strong and determined. Generous and thoughtful. A beautiful smile and wonderful laugh! So very sorry for your loss. I will never forget her or good old Classic."

"Alice Spence at Great Western just told me Karyn had passed away. I am still shocked that she is gone. When I first started banking at Great Western Karyn went out of her way to get everything set up for me. She was such an animal lover as I am and we got along beautifully. She loved life and it sure did show, she was a pleasure to work with and call a friend. To her family you have my deepest sympathy, she certainly treasured you and shared many stories with me. She will forever be dearly missed and Heaven welcomed an angel who left us much too soon. Rest in peace my friend Jan Schmidt Tampa, FL"

"I met Karyn when I was the treasurer of the Benson Neighborhood Association (BNA) some twenty plus years back. She always greeted everyone with that infections smile of hers that is perfectly captured in the picture chosen. I eventually held many positions with the BNA and spent my final days of employment as a phone banker when the phone center was located at Benson Branch. It was always a bright spot in my day if I found her office empty and I could stop in for just a few words about nothing specific after my part time shift had ended as we were very close in age. I am oh so sorry that Karyn has left this here life too soon, but I am so glad I had an opportunity to meet her and give a honk when I could catch her in her PT Cruiser around town.
