"DearSean: Cindy Donovan told me about your mother's death and I was so very sorry to hear the news. I knew your mom in college and liked her very much. She was such an easy going and always cheerful person. I never remember her angry or upset. I played hockey with her and she was very good at it - well before hockey was a sport that women played. She was also on a baseball team with me - we were The Gang that Couldn't Shoot Straight - because it was way more important not to drop your beer than to catch a fly ball coming your way!! You were lucky to have her as a mom and I was lucky to have her as a friend. You have my deepest sympathy and please be sure I will remember your mom - or just "Brosseau," as we always called her - flying across the ice with her black, curly hair flying out from under her helmet. She was a wonderful person. Katie Carroll Providence College '75 1490 Pumping Station Rd. Gettysburg, PA 17325"
