"Karen, Alan, Jessica & Kelsey, I cannot begin to tell you how saddened we were to learn of Cross' passing. He was such a special child who showed great courage in facing all life's difficulties. Only those who have suffered the loss of a child know your pain but we will continue to pray for you and ask God to comfort you now and always. Karen, I wish your grandmother were still here as she knows the kind of pain you are suffering. She had the gift to give comfort to others with her words so I'll end with the final words from the poem she wrote for Rosalyn after she lost her... "Your soul has gone to live above With Him who was your dearest love. Our lives by you were greatly blessed - Sleep gently, darling, now, and rest." May you find comfort in the knowledge that Cross is resting gently in God's arms. Love, prayers and deepest sympathy, Aunt Evie, Uncle Andrew & Andrea."

"Dear Mr. and Mrs. Toti & Family: I never got the pleasure of meeting any of you or Cross, I am a friend and was a co-worker of Fran's. I do know that Cross was a VERY SPECIAL little boy, and that is why he has been chosen to be in the kingdom of God. All of you are also VERY SPECIAL people for taking such good care of Cross, and giving him so much love. May it help all of you to know that he is now in the best of hands, and will be with you in spirit until you all are once again reunited to be together in the world that NEVER ends, with no more pain. I am praying to God to help all of you to make it through this difficult time. God Bless, Melanie DiSano"
"Even though I only met Cross once i felt so special to be near him he was an incredible boy and I wasn't expecting him to pass so soon in his life i feel deeply saddened and I only hope that he is in better hands now he deserves only the best and that is what he got when he was here with us but now with god we can only rejoice of how happy he will be to be able to look down and see each and every person that he held so near and dear to his heart My deepest sympathys to the whole family, Courtney"
"We are so sorry to hear about the loss of your son. Know that he will be with you always."
"We cannot begin to fathom your pain in the loss of Cross. You have all lavished your love on this little boy, helping him down the road through his turbulent life, blanketing him in your care and comfort. What a testimonial to those of us who think our trivial problems in life are burdensome! We can, as believers, rejoice in Cross' passing...knowing that he has gone to be with the Lord, to that place where "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." I like to think of Cross in his new, heavenly body - whole and free. It makes me smile. God bless you all and bring you peace, Aunt Liz"
"I can't imagine the loss of a child and the pain you must feel. I do know Cross is with God and will be looking at his family with great pride as you move forward through life, knowing he will be in your thoughts and heart forever. Be strong and continue your lives as a family for he would expect no less. My prayers and thoughts are with you. Your Friend and Brother James Spinale and Family"
"Our deepest Sympathy and Thoughts go out to both of you. Cross is in a better place now . He will always be in our thoughts till we see him again . God Bless Ed and Alice"
"Dear Karen, Alan, Jessica and Kelsey, My heart aches for you..my prayers and thoughts are with you. The pain is the worst you will feel in your life...but as time goes on you will get signs that Cross is ok and in a better place. Although it is hard to imagine a better place than what you did for him. He was a lucky little boy to have had your love and you were lucky to have this little angel with you for 6 short years...These children can teach us so much. God could surely see that he needed Cross's help. None of these words will make anything better for you right now, but please know that time will heal and Cross will help you through this. Take care..I am thinking of you..see you soon Love, Sam Jemo Silvia"
"Dear Karen, Alan, Jessica and Kelsey, Please accept our deepest sympathy on the loss of your precious little Cross. His memory will always be in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family. Sincerely, The Clark Family Tom, Wendy, Taylor, Nicholas and Dylan."
"Thank you Karen and Alan, for bringing Cross into the world and taking such loving care of him. He was an incredibly beautiful gift to all those who knew him and whose lives were touched by him! Cross taught us so much about life and about suffering. He was so much like Jesus, innocent and yet called to suffer. Few of us have that courage and few of us will go straight to heaven as I know Cross has. So young to be a saint, but perhaps he will intercede on behalf of those still suffering on earth. Thank you for the beautiful gift of Cross. Although he lives in heaven, he?ll be missed on earth. Love, Aunt Mary"
